Family Support Teams

Family Support Teams are a part of HOPE South Florida’s faith-based solution to help the homeless reach their goals. The teams are made of small groups of people from local churches who know the value of loving community and have volunteered to offer emotional and spiritual support, friendship, and the gift of hope in overcoming life’s obstacles.
As they bounce back from homelessness, we want our families to achieve long-term sustainability. A social and spiritual network of relationships is vital for people to maintain healthy interdependence within a community. Under the supervision and guidance of our case managers, Family Support Teams carry out personalized care plans designed to encourage, empower, and equip clients to keep their lives heading in positive, productive directions.
We believe this partnership between the Family Support Teams, HOPE case managers and the families in need is by far the greatest recipe for success.
